Brew Tour
High Point Brewing, located at 22 Park Place, Butler, will host its first brew tour of the year on March 13th. The first tour begins at 2:00 pm, and a second tour will begin at 3:30 pm.
Participants will get to sample several of the breweries Ramstein branded wheat beers, ales, lagers, and pilsners. Greg Zacccardi, the founder and president of High Point Brewing, has been producing award winning beers according to the German Purity Laws of 1516. Only four ingredients are permitted, water, malt, hops, and brewers yeast. All of the principle ingredients are imported directly from Germany.
A tapping of the traditional wooden barrel will introduce the breweries award winning Maibock, a traditional German spring beer. The Maibock was Rated the #1 Maibock during the “International Maibock Beer Competition" sponsored by Ale Street News in April 2009. Don’t miss your chance to sample the freshest most delicious beers you may ever find.
Participants may also purchase beer at the brewery by filling their own glass vessels called “Growlers" or purchasing the available pre packed six packs. One and two liter “Growlers” are available at the brewery. Maibock is only available by Growler and is only produced once a year. Don't miss this extraordinary event..
